Bryan is a trade mark and branding expert who joined the firm in 1971, and was made a partner in 1977. Bryan retired from the partnership in 2009 but decided to continue his support of A J Park in an advisory capacity. He is now a consultant based in our Auckland office.
Bryan's specialist areas are trade mark portfolio management and branding strategies, litigation in trade marks and other intellectual property, commercial licensing, copyright protection and the law relating to unfair competition.
Bryan has been actively involved in advising the government on trade mark law reform, geographical indications and anti-counterfeiting for many years.
Bryan is a member of the Auckland District Law Society and is also a past President of the New Zealand Institute of Patent Attorneys (NZIPA).
