Nigel joined A J Park in 1993 and specialises in intellectual property litigation.
He has expertise in a range of areas including resolving trade mark and domain name disputes. He appears before the Commissioner of trade marks and the High Court as well as making use of the New Zealand dispute resolution service on behalf of clients.
Nigel has advised a range of companies from small local businesses to large multinational corporations. These companies include fashion, computer, telecommunication, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, retail, importing, exporting and cosmetic and toiletry businesses.
Nigel has experience in range of other areas of intellectual property and relies on this in advising on legal and practical issues facing clients.
Nigel is a past councilor of the New Zealand Institute of Patent Attorneys. He has been involved in representing the profession in technical meetings with the Intellectual Property Office of New Zealand (IPONZ) over trade mark issues.
