Duncan is a patent law specialist, with particular expertise in the area of chemical innovations.
Duncan works with clients from a range of industries including, pharmaceutical, agrichemical, process technology and materials science.
He provides expert patent advice to a range of local companies and research organisations, including Crown Research Institutes (CRIs) and Universities. Duncan's clients also include large international research-driven companies.
Before joining A J Park, Duncan completed a PhD in chemistry at the University of Canterbury and carried out post-doctoral research at the University of Otago in organic and inorganic design, synthesis and characterisation.
Duncan is a fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Patent Attorneys and a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chemistry.
